My mom sent me a link to the this site with a note that since I needed a car, maybe I should wish for it. And it really made me think about what I would wish for if I had one wish. I need a bunch of things so I could make a list but when you get right down to it, I’m not sure how important any of them are. They seem important at the moment, some of them more so than others. I could wish to have my business more successful, or to have a new car, or a lawn mower, or more money, etc.
But if you stop and think about it for a minute, are those things going to seem as important ten years from now? Will I be absolutely thrilled ten years from now that I had a wish and wished for a car or a lawn mower or a screen door? Somehow I don’t think so…
One thing that all this adversity in my life has made very clear to me. It’s not the things you have, or the things you think you need that are important. It is the relationships in your life. I think I would wish that I had more time with the people I love… with my kids, with my sister, with my parents, with Ned. And I think that 10 years from now, I would be glad I wished for it.

Excellent post. It really does make you think about what a “wish” could do. I think you are right on, except the growing the business part!
Grow the biz, and I bet you can have more time for family and loved ones too….
Cant wait to see the puppies when they arrive. (thats just saying in advance that it will be fun to watch them grow up in pictures!! hehe)
