Not Again! Farm

I looked out the window yesterday morning around 11:30 and it was like looking out into a blizzard.  Snow was not only falling, it was coming down so hard and so fast that I couldn’t see my neighbors house.  I came back in and looked at the forecast again… Yup, mostly sunny with some clouds and wind.  I looked back outside and the ground was beginning to be covered.

It only lasted about 15 minutes and the snow was gone from the ground in less time  than that but those 15 minutes were wild.  The wind was whipping around the house, the snow was coming down almost horizontally.  The dogs were excited and running around the house.

I think it was a brief warning from Mother Nature that things are about to get hairy.  The forecast for Thursday morning now is ice, snow and freezing rain.  I guess winter has finally arrived and is making itself known.
